Biography

I was born in this small university city called Delft, in Holland, also known as the Netherlands. I was born on a hot summer day on July 17th, 1980. My parents are two of one kind. My mother was born in Suriname, South America. My mom is 100% Javanese. My dad was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. So that makes me a mixed cocktail, I assume.

My life in the past wasn’t really all about roses. I was kind of a loner, really. I was also a bad guy when I was a little kid. Stealing cigarettes, teasing kids and stuff like that! But I guess every kid went through that. I don’t know. The tables were turned when I went the 2nd class of highschool. I had to go to another school and that was the beginning of hell, so to speak. It was a new school, very big, loads of students. I was a loner there and also a target for torture. I was one of those kids whose life was a living hell in school. I am sure that I am not the only of who experience these kind of shit. There were always these kids in groups who, I don’t know why, find it fun torment other kids. I was one of those tormented ones. I got peanut butter smushed in my hair, my bike a kicked all apart and kids waited for me outside the school to beat me up! I was one of the teaser earlier in my life, but right then and there in highschool, the tables were turned. I never knew how much of an effect it had on me. I became more distant and insecure. Really felt alone and scared. It was really a hell for me. I didn’t finished school at that time. I was too afraid to go back to school. Afraid of the humiliation and embarrassing moments. I don’t know why kids do that to other kids. Is it because they went through it ones? I don’t know.
After all that shit I tried to leave behind that awful experience. And I tried to move on with my life and try to forget all about my highschool year. But it is not an easy thing. It really has a huge impact on my life. It made me stay insecure and it made it difficult to socialize. Eventually after a year or two I manage to get my highschool diploma. So that is all good.

On to other things now, at the moment I am happy to be who I am. Gay, single and fabulous. Speaking of being gay, let me tell you a bit about my coming out. It was very dramatic, let me tell you that. I told it to both my parents. Well I actually didn’t exactly say the words. I let them figure it out and just nodded. I was having a conversation with my parents about being honest and all and about talking if anything is wrong. At that time I felt like it was the best time to just mention it to them. I said to them that there was something else that I wanted to tell them, but that it was difficult for me to tell it. My dad was saying that he thinks he already know what the thing was. I was quiet at that time and then I asked him what he though. He said to me: you are gay? I was quiet for a couple of seconds and I just nodded yes. My mom started to cry and said that it is a disease and all and that it is not normal. It was a whol cry fest then. I felt a bit uncomfortable and I started to cry too. My dad was the one who’s reaction was cool and my mom was being very dramatic. I thought it would be the other way around. Oh well. I mentioned it to them somewhere in July 2002. At the moment I think they are cool about it. I am basically living my life as I want and they are cool with it, I think. I mean I have my boys posters hanging all over my room, along with Madonna.

Speaking of Madonna, I am one of her biggest fan! I have been a fan of her since I was 5 years old, up until now. I have seen madonna live when she was in Holland for her Blond Ambition World Tour. I was 10 years old and it was fucking fabulous! I was happy to see my heroin perform live again in 2004.

I love traveling! I have been traveling quite often up until now. I have been to the United States many times! Went to Los Angeles 4 times! That is my all time favorite place to go on holiday too. Besides that I have been to Suriname and Malaysia, UK and Ireland and some European countries like Belgium and Germany. The farthest place I have ever been to is Hawaii! That was amazing. Also met very close people during that trip who I am still in contact with and friends with. It all started with chatting in a Janet Jackson. There were some other dutch people talking about going to Hawaii to see Janet’s last show from her Velvet Rope World Tour. I thought it was a great idea and I wanted to go aswell. I was chatting with Gisela and Francois in there. Can you imagine? Who would have thought? I mean they were talking about going to Hawaii and I asked them if I could go aswell. They never thought I would go for it and book a flight! So there ya go, that was the start of a new friendship. That all happened in January 1999. And we are still friends! And I love them dearly. Via them I also met Svenlana, who is my soul mate! Also met Jurgen! Svenlana and I are still friends, and that will be for ever. I have been through alot with her. Live in Dublin with Svenlana, went to Los Angeles on holiday with her and London. Went through so many things. All the laugher and drama. I am very blessed with that! I don’t have that many friends, but that is not necessary to have too many friends, to me that is. I do have some aqcuaintances who I see from time to time. But that is different. I am happy with just one hand full of real friends!

In April 2000 I moved my ass to Ireland as I got a job to work as a reservation sales agent for Hertz International Car Rental. It was the biggest step I took in my life. When I look back at it I think wow! I can’t believe I went through all that. I mean I still lived at home before that. Immediately move out, new job and a new country. It was an amazing experience. Made it also easier for me since Svenlana moved there as well one month before to work for United Airlines. I really had a great time in Ireland. Really a great and big learning experience. I will never forget that. I lived in a small county of Dublin called Swords. I lived in Ireland for nearly one and a half year.

After my experience in Ireland I started working for Cygnific, handling reservation call for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. I started working their in July 2002 and ended my function in September 2009. I had a great time working there. Made so many good friends. And I will miss everyone.

In November 2008 I met my boyfriend, Stefan. It’s kinda a funny story how we met. I have been a proud BlackBerry owner and we actually met through BlackBerry Messenger. It was online, through the Crackberry forum. I posted my BlackBerry PIN on the forum, too meet people who also own a BlackBerry. I got several PIN requests from people all over the world, chatted it up on BlackBerry Messenger. One night I got a PIN message from someone. His name is Stefan, and he’s from Canada. We started chatting on BlackBerry Messenger, and then on MSN and Yahoo Messenger with webcam and microphone. I must say we hit it off immediately. As time went by we started to get close. We chatted online every day. And after a few months Stefan decided to come visit me.

In July, 2009, Stefan came to Holland and stayed with me for two months. It was the best. The long distance is kinda brutal but thank God for technology. Without the Internet it would be very difficult. I am so happy that I have met him. Someone who accepts me for who I am. I love him alot. He’s my baby!

I have my own apartment in The Hague since April 2005. My own little palace which I bought. Living on my own, having my own crib.

So that is basically that is my so called life. Gay, having a wonderful boyfriend and feeling fabulous! What more do I want?
