Flying around like a busy bee!
Yes, here I am again, after five days of not blogging. I have been a busy bee. Busy with work and busy with going out and about with Stefan and my friends. Last week Stefan and I went out and about in Rotterdam, doing some shopping. We had an early lunch/dinner at La Place. Loved it. Later on we met up with Sven in the city and went out for a drink in an Irish pub. A pub where we usually go to. I love it there. It really feels like being in Ireland, which brings back a lot of memories since I was living there in the early 2000′s. It was fun. We had only one drink, a Snake Bite, which was very tasty! I only had one day off last Friday.

The past weekend I had to work. Stefan came along with me to work and we met up with Cindy who had a day off. Cindy brought Stefan with her to her home. They picked me up after work and we went off to the city of Amsterdam. Cindy, Maya, Stefan and I had dinner at Rosa’s Cantina, a Mexican restaurant. Food there was great! Later on Alex, Gosia and Soraya joined us as well. After dinner we went to The Arc, a trendy and loungy bar in Amsterdam. We had loads of laughter there as the cocktails kept coming in. Time flew by fast, but it wasn’t time yet to go home and sleep.

Gosia, Maya and Alex went home and me, Stefan, , Cindy, Soraya and her boyfriend Simon went to another A-List lounge, Escape Deluxe. It was alot of fun. We laughed, we danced and we all had a great time. I had to work the next day, but oh well, it was okay. We stayed over at Cindy’s house for the night. Cindy also had to work the next morning, we both started at 9am. I only had about four hours of sleep. It was brutal. I know I do not go out every week, so it’s okay to go overboard for once.
However work was being a pain in the ass last Sunday. So yeah I have been busy, busy, busy! But I had loads of fun. Today I have been off for just one day. Work for three more days and then I am off for three days. Stefan and I wanted to go out and about again today, but I was actually not in the mood to go out. I’m only off for one day and it is nice to just stay home and do nothing, right? Anyway, this was just a little update. Hope everyone is doing well.
PS: Are you all excited about the Madonna’s Celebration?

Finally got The Flip!
When Stefan and I arrived back home from Tilburg this morning, at about 10am, I was kinda knackered and decided to take a little nap. However, my nap was about hours long. I guess I really needed my rest. When I woke up I checked my bank and I was pleased to see that I finally got my tax return! Finally! I was really happy as it was quite alot of money that I got back. So Stefan and I got dressed and we hit the city for a little shopping spree! First we went to Zara and I bought a new bag and I got Stefan a nice white jacket and some cool pair of pants. We had dinner at La Place and got a little bargain there as well. The cashier forgot to charge one item, so that was a plus.
Anyway, we also went to MediaMarkt and there I finally purchased a little gadget which I wanted to have for a really long time. The Flip! Yes, The Flip videocamera is finally available here in Holland and MediaMarkt got the in stock. There are two versions availabe. I chose The Flip Mino HD (High Definition). And I am very pleased with it. I can carry it in my pockets and shoot High Definition video where ever I am. Loves it! I think I deserved a little treat for myself, even if there is a crisis or whatever. And I know that in the United States there is The Flip Ultra HD which is a bit better and advances than the one I bought, but oh well. It will take ages before that one hits the market here. Anyway, I’m totally flipping it!

Pink Monday in Tilburg!
I spent a couple of nights in Tilburg together with Stefan at Gisela and Marthe’s place ad we had loads of fun. With the yearly fair in Tilburg there was the yearly Pink Monday event for the gays and lesbians. It’s the one day where it is all about tolerance and respect for the gay community. It was loads of fun. The only downer was when there was this homophobic kid at the fair who was just ruining it for everyone. But that didn’t last long. But still it was pissing me off!
Anyway, we still had loads of fun. We did the bumper rides, had a ride in a rollercoaster and the wilde water ride. It was fun. Met up with Sven and Jurgen as well. Ofcourse we took some snapshots as well, check it out!

I had a great long weekend with Stefan and it was great seeing Gisela and Marthe again. We had alot of fun! It’s time to plan more fun stuff to do with Stefan. I can’t wait to be off from work next month for three weeks! Looking forward to that!
It was a bumpy ride!
A little bloggie from Tilburg. I am spending the weekend with Stefan at Gisela and Marthe’s place. A little get-a-way for the weekend. At this moment we are all lazy. But yesterday we were quite active, well in the Leander kind of way. First we had dinner at The Wok Garden, a all you can eat buffet. It was so good. I almost over ate but I managed to control myself.
After dinner we went to the fair, or the carnival, whatever you want to call it. There are rides and all, so you get the picture. Stefan and I first went into this haunted house car ride thingy. It was hysterical when there was an actual person dressed up like that freak from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre we was suddenly in front of us with the chainsaw. Totally freaked me out. And yeah, I did scream like a little girl. Especially when the same guy jumped out of the corner at the end of the ride. Brutal!
Next up it was time to hot the bumper rides. Gisela and Stefan were totally working it at the bumper ride. I did join in for a couple of the rides. Got some videos and pictures too. I will post the video footages soon when I will make another video blog. I don’t know when I will do that, though.

After ther bumper rides we went into the rollercoaster, which seems to be not so scary. But the actually ride went quite fast and the curves were scary. I taped the whole ride, which I will add to the video blog as well. We had a nice evening last night.
Today it is a lazy day. Weather kinda sucks today so it is a good excuse to stay in and do nothing and just be lazy. That’s no crime. Tomorrow it’s pink monday at the fair. We’re all going to go later in the afternoon tomorrow. Will be loads of fun. Will make more pictures for sure.
Anyway, I am gonna continue and be lazy with Stefan and my two favorite lesbians. I will be back again soon. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Weekend to Tilburg!
I had a nice and relaxing birthday! I didn’t do much. Just stayed home with Stefan, had Taco’s for dinner, watched movies, just a chill time. I loved it! I can’t believe that I am 29 now! Gosh, have you ever? The big 30 is coming at me and bite me in the ass! But I ain’t bothered! To me, 30 is the new 20. Sounds lame but that is how I feel. And I love it!
I am not going back to work ’til next Wednesday. Today I am going to Tilburg together with Stefan. Going to spend some time with my long time friend Gisela. I’m very excited. I haven’t been to Tilburg for a long time. On Monday it is Pink Monday, which is a lot of fun! Looking forward to that! I’m sure there will be lots of pictures from our weekend in Tilburg. Loving it!
Ok I’m gonna wrap up this little blog post. I’m 29 years old now, yippie. Oh well, I will be back again soon. I will probably blog some more when I am in Tilburg. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I know I will!
Officially 29 now!
Okay, I am officially 29 now. Hmm, how am I feeling, how am I experiencing it. Hmm, I feel great. I don’t feel 29 at all. Still feel very young at heart. However, the big 30 will be next. But I cannot think about that yet, otherwise I’ll vommit! And we don’t want that to happen, right? But it does sound depressing, doesn’t it? Aah, I am 29 now. Happy birthday to me, I guess! Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Last day of being 28!
Today is the last day I get to enjoy being 28 years old. Tomorrow it is my birthday and I just thought about the fact that I will be 30 in 12 months. Frightning isn’t it? It’s making me sick, really. But I feel and act young. And I do look young, don’t I? I got no plans for tomorrow. Just chill and relax on this special day. I always want my birthday to go by fast. I never really do anything either. But next year I will organize a huge party. We shall see. Oh well, my last day of being 28 is almost over. Blah!
Sticky & Sweet at Werchter!
Last Saturday I went to see Madonna’s show at Werchter in Belgium together with Stefan and Sven! It was quite a journey to go from Antwerp to Werchter. We took took the train from Antwerp to Werchter and we arrived at Leuven where we took a special bus to Werchter, which was arranged special for the Madonna concert. Werchter is an unusual venue where festivals and concerts are being held. We took the bus and we got dropped off in the middle of nowhere where we had to walk for about half an hour to the venue. The venue was basically a huge field. When we got there, there were already thousands of people waiting at the entrance gate. We waited for less than two hours until the gates opened. It started to rain a bit as well and I was like ‘oh no!’.

While we were waiting at the gate we heard Madonna rehearsing for the show. I got all excited! I mean Madonna was right there! It started to rain more when the gates opened. We power walked most to the front of the stage. We didn’t had Golden Circle tickets so we stood at the side of the stage. We still had an okay view and we stood in front of the big screen.

We still had hours to go until Madonna started the show. DJ Paul Oakenfold warmed up the crowd in the mean time. And it kept on raining more and more. Kinda bummed about that. The rain also caused the show to start late. Eventually Madonna started the show at 10:15pm.
When the show started I got all hyper and excited. It was great seeing my number one idol again! The show was amazing! There were a few changes as well than the first leg of the show last year. Instead of Heartbeat, Madonna did Holiday. Instead of Borderline, Madonna did Dress You Up. And instead of Hung up, Madonna did Frozen. So much better, I must say!
The show ended at 00:15am. We didn’t stay until the end. Just before the last song we walked to the buses, otherwise we would miss our train back to Antwerp. We would have been okay since the train had a three hour delay! We were so tired. We arrived at the hotel at 4am. Slept for a couple of hours and went back to Holland in the morning.
I had a great time seeing Madonna. I wish I could see her again during this tour. Who knows. It was great seeing Stefan having a great time as well. He loved the show! And he was kinda Madonna-fied after. Loves it! The Queen of Pop, forever!
