More of Madonna for Louis Vuitton!
Here are some more pictures of Madonna’s new Louis Vuitton campaign that surfaced the Internet! I am loving this! I cannot wait to see more pictures. Perhaps some different poses, that would be nice. I must say that these pictures are way to photoshopped with effects. Would love to see the ‘raw’ pictures of this shoot.

“Queen of Pop” becomes “Queen of Cash”
U.S. pop diva Madonna has been named the highest-earning musician by America’s Forbes magazine. The “Queen of Pop” has made a staggering 110 million dollars in the past year, the magazine reports.
In a poll conducted by the Forbes magazine, the 50-year-old ‘Material Girl’ singer has topped the slot, thanks in part to the success of her ‘Hard Candy’ album, her sold-out ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour and lucrative endorsement deals.
To grab the top spot in Forbes’ annual list of the top-earning musicians (from June 2008 to June 2009), Madonna has pipped Celine Dion and Beyonce Knowles, who have been ranked second and third respectively in the list.
Runner-ups
Canadian pop diva Dion finished second with an estimated $100 million, while the singer-actress Beyonce was placed third with $87 million, thanks to touring “I Am… Sasha Fierce” and promotional deals, as well as her esteemed performances in movies “Obsessed” and “Cadillac Records”.
Rocker Bruce Springsteen and country star Kenny Chesney bagged the fourth and fifth place, after earning $70 million and $65 million respectively in the past year. However, there was a three-way tie for the number six position between Coldplay, Rascal Flatts and AC/DC, who all earned $60 million each.

Michael Jackson tickets to be refunded
AEG Live has announced that full refunds will be given to fans who purchased tickets through authorized agents to Michael Jackson’s 50 planned concerts at the O2 Arena in London, according to a news release from the promoter, which operates the O2 Arena. The refunds will include service fee charges.
On July 1, fans who purchased tickets to Jackson’s “This Is It” concerts will be directed to MichaelJacksonLive.com for information about how to receive full refunds. The refunds will be processed by authorized ticketing agencies, including primary ticketing company Ticketmaster and U.K. reseller Viagogo, among others.
Fans will be also given the option to receive the concert tickets as souvenirs in lieu of the full refunds. The tickets were printed with the lenticular process and were designed by Jackson, according to the release. The offer will be valid through Aug. 14.
“The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known,” AEG Live president/CEO Randy Phillips said in a statement. “Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death.”
Jackson’s planned 50-show run at the O2 Arena in London would have been the highest-grossing single concert engagement. More than $85 million worth of tickets had already been sold for the series of performances.

What a week!
Wow, it’s a new week. I got home from work about an hour ago. Took a shower, fixed dinner and I now I am chillin’ a bit before I go to bed. I have to work again tomorrow morning at 10am. But oh well, what a week we all went through. Mainly because of Michael Jackson’s death last Thursday, which was big shock to the world. Like unbelievable. I still feel sad when I think about it, really. It was a real slap in the face!
What I find so hypocritical is that the last, let’s say, ten years of his life people have been nothing but negative about him. How weird he is and how he’s crazy. And now he’s gone and everyone is like ‘aww’. It doesn’t make any sense. Oh well. I love Michael Jackson’s music. It’s a big part of me growing up. Songs from the 80′s and 90′s. I have seen him in concert twice, which was an amazing experience. He’s just a legend. He will be remembered always. King of Pop, forever!
Looking forward to see Madonna’s broadcast of the Sticky & Sweet Tour this Saturday. Next week I will see the show live in Belgium. Very thrilled about it. I will also see Britney Spears two nights before in Belgium as well. All fun things planned!
Anyway, I just wanted to drop a little note. I am going to continue with relaxing and then go to bed. Hope everyone is having a nice day and a good week! Peace out!
Sticky & Sweet Sky1 commercial

The show from Argentina where she performed last year in December will be broadcast in the United Kingdom on July 4th as well on Sky1. Here is a little commercial from Sky1 promoting the concert broadcast! I can’t wait!

Madonna and Mercy
Here are some good shots of Madonna and new adopted daughter Mercy from Malawi, taken in London while leaving the Kabbalah Center yesterday.

Rumour: Madonna at Jackson tribute
The show will go on for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour.
The announcement was made at a June 26 memorial gathering for Jackson, held by the tour’s cast and crew.
According to a tour organizer, one performance will now be held in September and will be a replica of what was planned for “This Is It” in London.
High-profile singers are expected to perform in place of Jackson. Among them, possibly Madonna, who was expected to appear at one of Jackson’s shows in London. A firm decision has not been made as to where the tribute concert will take place, but it’s likely to be in Los Angeles.

Madonna on Michael Jackson’s death
Madonna released her own statement on the death of King of Pop, the one and only Michael Jackson.
“I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.”
Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary posted on Twitter the following: The moment that never happened – A month ago Madonna told me she wanted to do a surprise performance at one of Michael Jackson’s UK shows.
Here is a little snippet of Madonna giving an homage to Michael Jackson during The Virgin Tour in 1985.
