Five years has passed. Still juicy!
Desperate Housewives is back again! I downloaded and watched season five’s first episode. And alot, I mean a lot has changed! All of a sudden it is five years later. Why the whole gap in it? I must say it’s brilliant. It’s like a whole new thing. My favorite character Bree is now famous for her cookbook. She’s like a Martha Stewart wannabe now. She is partners with Katherine. Gabriel is a mother of two now. And she totally lost her touch and is now a typical housewife. Edie came back to Wisteria Lane and is now married. There seems to be a disturbing issue with her husband which we will find out soon. He’s having, a rage? Hmm I wonder. Susan is no longer with Mike. She is now seeing her painter, Jackson, played by actor Gale Harold from the US version of Queer As Folk. Lynette is all recovered and her twin boys are both rebelious teens now.

To make a long story short, alot has suddenly changed. It’s good and fresh. Not to mention very, very juicy! Cannot wait for the next one!

Madonna fined for breaking stadium curfew
Pop superstar Madonna has been fined $249,750 (GBP135,000) by Wembley Stadium officials for breaking the venue’s curfew during the London stop of her Sticky & Sweet world tour earlier this month.
The Material Girl’s show overran the 10.30pm curfew by 40 minutes when she played there on 11 September – her only date in the U.K.
And she has now been charged $92,500 (GBP50,000) for every 15 minutes she overstayed her welcome.
A Wembley Stadium source says, “The concert was meant to start at 8.30pm but Madonna didn’t come on stage until 9.10pm. The gig ended at 11.10pm so she was quite a bit over.
“Her people knew about the possible implications for going over the curfew but this is a pretty hefty fine, even for Madonna.”

Betty is back!
I watched the first episode of Ugly Betty today and I loved it! I am so happy that so many shows are back now. It was a nice episode. Betty had a long vacation and traveled through the United States. She got inspired by making it on her own and decided to buy her very own apartment in Manhattan. Betty no longer works for Mode as Daniel is now running his own magazine, Player Magazine, since evil Willemina kicked him out of Mode. That was a big surprise for poor Betty. Lindsay Lohan had another guest role in the show. I wonder if she will become a recurring character. Hilda is seeing Justin’s gym teacher, except for Hilda no one really knows he is married. Such drama! I cannot wait for the next episode, which is something I always say when watching one of my favorite shows. Tomorrow I will be able to download the new season premiere of Desperate Housewives! Cannot wait!
A night out in Amsterdam
Oh man! Going out in Amsterdam until early in the morning really kicks you in the balls, seriously. Last night I went to Amsterdam and chilled with Verena, Cindy and Denis. We went to the Arc first. For me it was the second night in a row. Let’s not make this a fucking habit, shall we? Anyway, the Tai Tai’s were coming along and I felt great. I had a great time. Dancing, laughing, it was just all so relax. I liked it. After the Arc we went to E-Lounge, a loung/bar/dancing on Rembrandts Square. Wow, it was so much fun. You had to be there, I was so much fun. And I don’t want to be arrogant or anything. The other were alot of fun. We all had a great time! Fun! I just danced the night away like a crazy mother fucker. Seriously.

But still, I don’t go out like this every week. I was home at 6 in the morning. Totally exhausted. Head was hurting a bit. Am I getting to old for this? Hell no. I defenitely want to do this again, soon. But again, not every weekend. I would be a broke ass, for sure.
Today was chill, went to the city to wonder off a bit, getting some fresh air, you know. It was a nice Sunday. Tomorrow I have to go back to work, but after tomorrow I am off for three days. I totally forgot about that. Nice, isn’t it! Anyway, Sunday is not over yet. I am just going to enjoy the final hours of today. Hope you all had a good weekend as well.

Madonna live in Budva, Montenegro
Two days ago Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour made a stop in Budva, Montenegro. An approximate 60.000 people attended the show at Jaz Beach. During the opening of the show there was a technical problem with the turning platform on the stage she first appears on during ‘Candy Shop’. The platform did not turn at all and had the be turned by hand by some of the crewmembers backstage. I can only imagine that Madonna would be totally pissed off with this technical error. Instead of turning the platform to the right, it was turned the other way around, which can be very confusing for the dancers as well. But she picked it up from there. After all the show must go on. Check out some official footage of Madonna’s opening from the show live at Jaz Beach in Budva, Montenegro.
I feel totally Tai Tai-ed!
Work yesterday was a bit of a depression for me. A big one. But I managed to survive it. Alex was so sweet! She took me out in Amsterdam after work. We had dinner at an Argentinian restaurant. Her treat. Such a doll, she is! I had some ribs, ofcourse. After dinner we chilled and looked at people at the Arc. Drinking cocktails, lots of Tai Tai’s for me. We had some good talks, laughed alot, really what I needed. Many thanks to Alex!
I am off this weekend now. I had a thought about going to see my friends, but I really have to clean my house. My house is a freaking pigsty. I need to vaccuum and mob the floors, do my dishes from the past week, a bit of laundry, change my bed sheets, etc. I really need a maid or something. Don’t all A-List people have maids? Or am I just being silly.
Anyway, this was just a little update. After the cleaning I will watch the new season premiere of Ugly Betty, which I actually still need to download. So I will be occupied today, which is a good thing. Monday I have to work but after that I will be off for three days again. Not complaining at the moment. Well there are many things to complain about but I’m not going to be bothered with it. I hope everyone is having a great and wonderfull weekend.
Bring on the snake bites!
Tonight I will meet up with Svenlana in Rotterdam. We are going to chill at an Irish Pub, the one we used to chill at a couple of years ago. I am anxious for a Snake Bite, which is some kind of cocktail, with beer and something, I don’t know. Svenlana told me about it. And it seems to be very good. So I’m excited about that. I’m sure I will love it. I love anything that has alcohol in it anyway. I haven’t been to the city centre of Rotterdam in a very long time. And I live not so far away from Rotterdam. Such a shame.
Today I am off from work. Just the one day. Then work again for two days and then off in the weekend. Right now I am just doing some laundry. I have to do the dishes which has been soaking in my sink for a couple of days now. I know, it’s totally gross and absolutely disgusting. So I really need to get up out of my seat and do some house chores. But first I am going to check out the second episode of Heroes.
My Heroes are back!
Two days ago the new season, the third on, of Heroes premiered in the States on NBC and ofcourse I downloaded the two first episode. And it was good! I still have to watch the second one which I will do later today. So happy that the Heroes are back. However this new volume will be apparently different as it is Heroes/Villains. So I am very curious about that. Good to see Milo again. He is so delicious!
Milo and Hayden are my favorites from the show. I am glad I was introduced to watch Heroes, because I never really like science-fiction kinda shows. But I was wrong. Heroes totally rocks! I am going to watch the second episode right now. It sucks that I have to wait for a week to be able to see a new episode. Each episode have sort of a cliffhanger, which makes you want to see more and more. I love it!
Dinner and cocktails in Amsterdam
Last Monday Verena took me out to dinner in Amsterdam, together with Cindy. We had a nice meal at De Kroon (translated The Crown) and afterwards we went for cocktails at the Arc. It was great. Dinner was good, had a nice Filet Mignon with pepper sauce. The wine was good too, as usual. After dinner we had one drink in the lounge area of De Kroon. I didn’t drink Vodka Lime in a very long time. And it was good.
Then it was time to go continue at the Arc. Haven’t been there in a very long time. The Arc is a lounge kinda place in the number one gay street of Amsterdam. But over the years it has became more attractive to the straight people as well, so it is more a mixture of gays and straight now. Which is nice, ofcourse.
As well were the cocktails. My first was a Decadent Mojito, and that was so good. They mix a normal Mojito with champagne. A total kick in the balls, I’m telling you. After that I tried a Tai Tai which was good as well. Oh we had a lot of laughs! My God, we were cracking up there. It wasn’t that busy, because it was Monday evening, but that didn’t stopped us for acting silly! Then it was time to go home as I had to work the next morning. Oh well, I had a great time and I really needed that. Hope to do it again soon!
